William Henry Gates was born on October 28TH, 1955 in Seattle, Washington. He had two sisters Kristi Anne was his older sister and Libby, his younger. His father, William Henry Senior, was a lawyer and her mother was an athletic and outgoing student at the University of Washington. Their home environment was between well-educated people who also served as the basis for provoking in him an interest in studies.
As a child, Bill Gates was a nerd, spending a lot of time studying especially Encyclopedia. His parents enrolled him in Seattle’s Lakeside school at the age of 13 years. Allen got admitted to Washington state university while Gates was at Harvard.

Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded a company Microsoft on 4 April 1975. In mid of 1980, Microsoft launched software for personal computer operating systems labeled as MS-DOS and later its name changed to Microsoft Windows.

MITS president, Ed Roberts asked the boys for the demonstration of the product.
